RABEMAR AgTech deployed a network of six nodes for HCS / WaterPIP-KAN to monitor soil hydrodynamic parameters in a market-gardening area in Burkina Faso.
The devices regularly collect data on soil water conditions, particularly soil moisture and soil temperature. This information provides a better understanding of changes in the water status of the plots and supports decision-making related to irrigation and agricultural water management.
The deployed system is based on autonomous equipment adapted to field conditions. It centralizes observations from the various monitoring points and provides usable data for agronomic monitoring, crop water requirement analysis, and the improvement of irrigation practices.
A dedicated dashboard enables remote, real-time monitoring of these parameters and facilitates the downloading of the collected data.
